Sales Associate (posted 3/4/08)

If you're a dirt bike or sport bike enthusiast looking to work in motorcycle industry, Ride Engineering has a position open for a part time or full time sales associate (Tues., Wed., Thurs., Fri. optional). Long hours are not required. Candidate must come in a minimum of three days a week to follow up with our clients.

About Ride Engineering

We manufacture bolt-on accessory products and sell them primarily through motorcycle dealers, since 2002. This position is based out of our Costa Mesa, CA office/warehouse.

Requirements

This is primarily an inside sales position that requires the following: basic computer skills like Microsoft Word and Excel (lightspeed a plus), positive sales attitude and excellent verbal skills. One day a week outside sales can be added depending on ability and desire. Must have at least two year minimum sales experience in any area. Candidate must be outgoing, well organized and have strong phone, written and verbal communication skills. He or she will be expected to periodically keep in contact with 100 to 200 established accounts while calling on new prospects to increase Ride Engineering's customer base. Some previous experience working at a motorcycle dealership is not required but very helpful in understanding our customers.
